One evening, a little boy was on a walk on a path in the woods just outside of his home. He was about to head back home from his day of chasing bugs and making forts, when a shiny pebble on the ground winked at him from the corner of his eye. He stooped down to look at it. All this time, I had believed the misleading definition of 'nihilism' stating that it is the belief of nothing. I had read it as a nihilist believes nothing exists... not just the metaphysical/skeptical definition. Hm. And this had made me feel so much a part of something. I am not anti-realist; I just embrace my mutilated perception through personal phenomenology on the only thing existing is one's own awareness, or the complete disregard of it. How can we be sure that what we call ' existance' is actually in our consciousness? Can reality be proven? What if it is all wrong? The world we say we live on, and the people we encounter could all be a dream. While in our dreams, we call it unconsciousness, but could it really be over-consciousness?
